Healthy Kids 1 - 2 - 3

At Whole Kids Foundation we know that the more kids know and feel connected to their food, the more curious they become about how things grow or taste, and the more willing they are to try new foods. We believe in three simple healthy eating principles that we believe offer the greatest health benefits:

1. Eat a Rainbow.

We’re talking naturally occurring colors, of course! Eating a variety of different and beautiful whole foods helps your body get a complete range of nutrients, including vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

2. Eat Greens First.

Green vegetables — especially dark leafy greens — pack in the nutrients while staying low in calories. One easy way to make sure you get your greens in is to enjoy a salad every day!

3. Eat Close to Nature.

Mother Nature provides the best nourishment! Think whole, fresh, natural, organic, local, seasonal, unprocessed.
