Give Bees a Chance - Help Fight Colony Collapse
Bees play a vital roll in our food supply, pollinating more than 100 types of nuts, fruits and veggies! Our passion for improving kids nutrition, wellness, and access to healthy foods is exactly why we’re raising awareness and building partnerships to help support the endangered honey bee population.

One out of every three bites of food we eat is thanks to our pollinators!
Bugs, like our honey bees, help turn flower buds into produce by depositing pollen from plant to plant. Unforutnately, our pollinators, specifically bees, are in decline. Where would we be without bees?
This is what your produce choices would look like without bees:
What can you do?
Get kids buzzing. Find great ways to talk to kids about bees whether you have a hive or not on our Honey Bee resources page.
Host a hive. We are developing a grant program that will bring beehives to educational gardens. Learn more on our Honey Bee page or Honey Bee FAQs.
Plant Flowers. Grow a mix of native flowers with different colors, shapes and bloom times. Blooming herbs, fruits and vegetables are good choices too!
Make Space. Preserve brush piles and bare patches of soil to help native bees dig nests.
Go Organic. To help promote healthy ecosystems, choose organic foods for your table and organic seeds and seedlings for your garden.
