Play is the way to shape healthy habits.
Kids aren’t always excited to talk about healthy choices (cue eye rolling and blank stares). To engage kids’ interest, the conversation has gotta be fun…and for parents, the fun has gotta fit into busy days!
One of the simplest ways to reach kids is to create more opportunities for “table time” together. Simply sitting down with your child at the kitchen table for an activity, craft, snack or meal is the best opportunity for quality conversations. Spending this time with your child can improve academic achievement too!
