Through school gardens, salad bars, beehives and teacher trainings, we’ve connected more than 10 million schoolchildren across the U.S., Canada and the U.K. to nature and food with real and measurable benefits.
Thanks to the generosity of Whole Kids Foundation, our after school program's elementary, middle and high school aged children and teens can continue planting, harvesting and enjoying healthy and nutritious fruits and vegetables grown by their own hands right here in the center of Jacksonville's urban core, in an area otherwise described as a food desert!
