Growing Roots is Unilever’s commitment to support urban farming in the U.S. In 2015, Unilever formed a partnership with the city of New York’s “Building Healthy Communities” initiative and Green City Force to create urban farms in six underserved neighborhoods. Inspired by the transformational impact of these farms, they launched Growing Roots Foods to help support urban farming across the country.
